With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Giovanni Stangherlin (Bolton, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Terzo Stangherlin and Olga (Civiero); and his siblings, Maria and Emilio. He is survived by: his wife Nadia; his children, Stephanie, Andrew (Kaleigh) and Sonia (Jesse); his grandchildren, Archer and Alessio; his siblings, Romano (Ivana), Danilo (Lara) and Joe (Rose); his mother-in-law Angela Sfreddo; and his sister-in-law Sandra Marcucci (Mario). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Egan Funeral Home (203 Queen St S, Bolton, ON L7E2C6). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (https://cancer.ca) would be greatly appreciated by the family. Donations may be made at the funeral home.
