It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Roberta Gill of Bolsover, Ontario, born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on October 13, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Elford Gill (Rudy); her parents, George Head and Alice Head; and her sisters, Donna Smith and Barbara Gill.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey (Grace), Lori (Doug) and Cherie (Randy); her grandchildren, Jeff (Kate), Shannon, Lucas (Alex), Jacob, Chevy, Kate and Corey; and her great grandchildren, Warren of Alex, AJ and Gabby.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (54 Bolsover Rd, Bolsover, ON K0M1B0).
In lieu of flowers, if so desired, Joan requested donations to Golden Rescue, a registered charity dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating Golden Retrievers.
