She was predeceased by: her son Matthew; and her parents, Archie Cunningham and Doris Cunningham. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth; her daughters, Janet Bird (Michael) and Patti Neely; her grandchildren, Mark Bird (Ocena Ladouceur) and Hadley Bird (Jill); and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Damien.
