She was predeceased by : her sister Christl Mauke. She is survived by : her husband Henry Plahuta; her children, Nick Plahuta (June) of Dunsford and Sandy Morton (Dean) of Bowmanville; her grandchildren, Sarah (Justin), Laura, Sean, Megan (Anthony), Mikayla, Mya and Noa; her siblings, Horst Huber (Elfi) of Bowmanville and Brigitte Beier of Peterborough; and her brother-in-law Reiner Mauke of Mississauga.
