He was predeceased by: his brother Timothy Brumwell (Sylvia); and his parents, William and Muriel Brumwell. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Brumwell (Nee Thomas) of Bobcaygeon; his children, Ellen (Ron Kuipers), Katherine (Jonathan Brinkman), Peter (Megan Brumwell) and William (Carrie Brumwell); his grandchildren, Logan, Dryden Kuipers, Matthew, Caleb (Alana), Hope Brinkman, Knox, Piper Brumwell, Kyla, Elijah, Moriah, Aiyanna, Leora, Thalia, Isaiah and Josiah Brumwell; his brothers, Clinton Brumwell (late Moira), James Brumwell (late Nancy), John Brumwell (Laurie), Douglas Brumwell (Kimberly) and David Brumwell (Catherine); and his siblings-in-law, John and Carol Thomas.

Memorial donations to the Kawartha Lakes Pregnancy Centre would be appreciated by the family.
