He was predeceased by: his parent Frederick Smithers. He is survived by: his parent Norma Smithers (Zabizemski); his stepparent Willa Smithers of Bobcaygeon; his stepsibling Krista (James) of Bobcaygeon; and his sibling Brian of Waterloo.
