She was predeceased by: her husband Mervin Charles Ritchie; her parents, Phil Dawson and Jenny Dawson; her siblings, Jean Nethery, Lois Dawson and Harold Dawson; her parents-in-law, Matilda Dawson, Alex Nethery, Doug Machan, Lorne, Marg Ritchie, Harold, Irene Ritchie, Leonard, Bernadean Ritchie, Gordon and Lila Ritchie; and her granddaughter Nicole.
She is survived by: her children, Ron, Liz Ritchie of Blyth, Gary, Joan Ritchie of Markham, Ken, Debbie Ritchie of Wingham, Terry, Cathy Ritchie of Bayfield, Karen, Dave Schieckoff of Bayfield and Kevin Ritchie of Blyth; and her siblings, Roy Dawson, Florence Machan, Murray and Sonja Dawson. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial donations to the Huron Residential Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
