He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Scott; his parents, Laurie and Dorothy; his siblings, Bob and Carol (Paul); and his pet Elfie.

He is survived by: his children, Deb Sholdice (Mark), Kim Hulley (John), Jon Scott and Lindsay Williams; his great grandchild Carter; his sisters-in-law, Judi (Jerry) and Bonnie; his nephews, Kevin (Mandy), Jason and Jeffrey (Tegan); and his niece Dawn (Gerald).
