He was predeceased by: his parent Hans Matz; and his sisters, Johanne (Gordon Johnson) and Anna (Harold Jensen). He is survived by: his wife Evelyne; his parent Anna Matz (Madsen); his grandchild Terry Matz (Elizabeth) of Bluevale; and his children, Charlotte, Evelyne (Matt Menard), Roger Matz of Innerkip and Judi Matz of London. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
