It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Shamas (Blind River, Ontario), who passed away on June 16, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sheila Shamas to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Abraham; her siblings, Adam Casson (late June) and June Marie Eadie (late Don); her parents, Samuel Adam and Edna Casson; and her stepmother Ann Casson.
She is survived by: her children, Tom (Diane), Dr. Mary Shamas and John (Shelley); her grandchildren, Allison of Vancouver, James of Guelph, Karli of Blind River and Andrew of Blind River; her sibling Dr. Bryn Casson (Ann); her siblings-in-law, Nell Maxwell (late Ted) and Jim Shamas; and her husband A. J. Shamas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
