He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Clarke and Girvin Clarke; his brother Stephen; and his parents-in-law, Jean and George Dowdall.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Rob (Tamara) and Wendy (Kerry Williamson); his grandchildren, Erica, Taylor, Tom, Abbie and Cody; his great grandchildren, Austin and Greyson; his siblings, Paul Clarke (Ruby) and Tim Clarke (Sigrid); and his siblings-in-law, Bill (Liz), Kevin, Bob (Bonnie), David, Paul (Karen) and Peter (Christine). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
