Peggy Thistel Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2024, at the age of 99, Peggy Thistel of Blind River, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Benn Thistel; her parents, Robert Self and Myrtle Self (Newton); and her siblings, Ethel Self, Arthur Self, Violet Evans, Jean Self, Elmer Self, Ray Self, Norva Lang and Bruce Self.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Thistel, Donovan Auxilly of Listowel, Martin and Brenda Thistel of Blind River; her grandchildren, Ceara of Blind River, Pat Bouchard of Blind River, Kristin of Blind River, Dave Bouchard of Blind River, Ryan Thistel of Blind River and Shirley Ann of Blind River; and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Richard, Hailey, Everley, Noah, Autumn, Isaac and Brooks.

Memorial donations to Royal Terrace Residents' Council, or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
