She was predeceased by: her parents, J. R. Smith and Mary Smith (MacNeil) of Antigonish; her children, Blaise John MacKenzie and Jacqueline Lillian; her grandson Robbie Campbell; and her siblings, John Joseph "Jackie" Smith, Jimmy Smith, Cecil Smith, Neil Smith, Vincent Smith, Stanley Smith and Agnes Smith.
She is survived by: her spouse Blaise MacKenzie; her children, Shirley (Ron Langlois) of Espanola, Kevin Sundre (Eileen) of Alberta and Pat (Robert Campbell) of Espanola; her grandchildren, John Langlois of Espanola and Jennifer MacKenzie (Andrew Pommier) of Sudbury; her great grandchildren, Rebecca, Racheal, Charlotte, Emma, Abigail, Seth, Hunter, Vincent and Aldea; and her siblings-in-law, Janann Smith, Kay Smith, Adeline Smith and Don Ferriss.
