With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Arscott (Blind River, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on September 6, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Susan Belanger (late John); his niece Alice Ervin; and his parents, Jack Arscott (Violet) and Genevieve Sackfield (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Arscott; his children, Genevieve Jones (David) and Robert Arscott (Camille); his siblings, Bill (Margaret) of Toronto, Chris (Susan) of London and Diane Wait (late Nigel); his grandchildren, Keira, Juliette (Arscott) and Alexander (Jones); his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Macaulay, Jean Kot (late Bill), Linda Ervin (Randy) and Tom (Carol); his nieces and nephews, Doug Arscott (Cheryl), Stephen Arscott (Diane Jones), John Arscott (Kate), Claire Arscott (Matt), Lisa Deeprose (Mark), Kim Ridgley (Rob), Christine Hannaford (Scott), Chris Payette, Leslie Payette, Scott Ervin and Jennifer Ammann-Macaulay (Hans-Rudi); and his godchildren, Cara Hannaford and Jennifer Ammann-Macaulay. He is also survived by many great-nephews and great-nieces and new great-great nephew.
