He was predeceased by: his former wife Rosaline; his parents, John Emil and Aina Carlson; and his siblings, Edwin (late Mary), Gladys, Ernest (Eleanor), Eddie, Evald (Katherine), Rose (late Sam), Lillian (late Carl), Irene (late Leonard), John Emil Eddy and Gloria (Horace).
He is survived by: his wife Maureen (Fitzpatrick); his children, Vandra (Alan), Erik (Angela) and Inalyn (Neil); his grandchildren, Tyler (Jessica), Brittney (Paul), Hannah (Josiah), Olivia (Andrew), Aileigh (Tyler), Luke (Emma), Claire, Amelia, Jaden, Tayven, Grant, Austin, Calvin, Samuel, Miller, Kane, Allison and Rosie; and his sister Elina Bouchard of North Bay. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Donations can be made in memory of Elmer to Golden Birches Terrace or Calvary Gospel Church.
