He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Olive Vandenhende and Gilbert Vandenhende; his daughters, Alyssa Dietrich (Dylan) and Kendra Vandenhende (Brennan); his siblings, Jason Vandenhende (Kate) and Deborah Van Dyk; his niece Chelsey Barlow (Nathan Chavis); his nephew Jeremy Stirling (Bre); and his great-nephews, Lyndon, Oliver, Winston and Malcolm.
