He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Johnston and Walter Kozlof; his stepfather Clarence Johnston; and his siblings, Larry Kozlof (Jane), Sharron Cooper (Brian), Patricia Hamelin (Tom), Mary "Maggie" Engel (Rudi), Richard Kozlof, Alexander Kozlof, David Johnston, Karen Armstrong (Phillip) and Janice Yourex (Glen).
