She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bennett and Lois Anne Bennett; her spouse Robert Anthony Papps; and her siblings, Norman and Enid of England.

She is survived by: her children, Michael (Vi) of Burlington, Garry (Lisa) of Chatham and Carol Huffman of Chatham; and her grandchildren, Aaron Papps (Ramona Johnston) of Victoria, B. C., Michaela DaSilva (John) of Sarnia, Tara Vandeweghe (Erick) of Toronto, Sheri Papps (Brent Ashley) of Toronto, Jason Huffman (Erin Seney) of Tecumseh, Chad Huffman (Lisa Barriault) of Blenheim and Brent Huffman (Michele Fawcett) of Calgary.

Donations in memory of Mavis may be made to the Blenheim Freedom Library or the Canadian Cancer Society.
