He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Thompson and Maisie Thompson (Cheeseman). He is survived by: his grandson Michael; his siblings, Allan Thompson (Jody) and Alanna Guerin (Michael); his children, Michelle, Shane McEvoy, Richard Thompson and Amy Ferguson; his grandchildren, Taryn McEvoy and Mya Thompson; his niece Tracy Lord; and his nephew Jeff Thompson (Andrea).
