She was predeceased by: her parents, William Baxter and Mable Baxter; her in-laws, Robert and Angele Mortele (Vancraeynest); her husband Lucien Mortele; her children, Angela Lippert (Rob) and Robert Mortele (Beth); her grandchildren, Mathew Lippert (Alie), Faith Mortele and Paige Mortele; her great grandchildren, Lucien and Michael; her stepgrandchild Jamie Elgie (Misty); her great grandchildren, Taylor and Kyle; her sibling Shirley Simpson; her brother-in-law Eric McDonald; and her siblings, Robert Baxter (late Colleen), Margaret Moorehouse (late Mort) and Bev McDonald. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home (76 Main St E, Ridgetown, ON N0P2C0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (13146 Reeders Line, Ridgetown, ON N0P2C0).
Donations made in memory of Marilyn to the Lung Association, Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
