She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Slocombe and Florence Slocombe of Blenheim; her child Joyce Laurie; her siblings, Olive Jean Cameron (Gerald) and Charlie Slocombe; her nephews, Mike Laurie, Wayne Stoehr, Byron Stoehr and Jeff Laurie; and her niece Linda Laurie.

She is survived by: her spouse Gordon; her children, Paul of Shrewsbury, Peter and Chrissie of Erie Beach; her siblings-in-law, Jim Laurie (Joanne) of St. Thomas and Shirley Dawson of Edmonton; and her nieces and nephews, Pat, Jim Bennett, Liz, Murray Butler, Jen, Michael Bush, George of Chatham, Julie of Chatham, Cindy of Chatham, Kevin of Chatham, Karen of Chatham, Janice of Chatham, David Dawson and Lori Dawson.
