She was predeceased by: her sister Felicia Burnedien (Beaton); her son Gerald Sykes; her daughter-in-law Annette Sykes; and her great grandchild Holly Sykes. She is survived by: her sibling Verne Thomas Wilkinson; her husband Nelson Edward Sykes; her children, Ona (Pat Forget), Murry (Marie Sykes) and Larry Sykes; her grandchildren, Shawn Forget (Deb), Dale Forget, Chad Sykes, Christopher Sykes (Erin) and Corey Sykes; and her great grandchildren, Dontae, Desmond, Donavan, Meghan, Ryan, Makayla, Cooper, Evan, Nathan and Delaine.
A Celebration of Marian's life will take place at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Saturday November 30, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Friends wishing to remember Marian with a memorial donation are asked to consider charity of their choice.
