He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Kathryn McArthur (Derrough); his stepchildren, Sue McCaw (late Rick) and Larry Lampman; his grandchildren, Steve McCaw (Kim), Laurie Milles (John) and Stacy McCaw; his great grandchildren, Mariah and Lily; and his parents, John McArthur and Gertrude McArthur (Howe). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, the Parkwood Hospital Veterans Care Program or the Poppy Fund at the Legion.
