He was predeceased by: his parent John Arthur; his wives, Jackie Want and Bernice Want; his stepson Wayne Traylor; and his siblings, Lloyd (Shirley), Ada (late Mike) and Marjorie (late Jack).
He is survived by: his parent Viola Want; his children, Jon and Richard (Tamara); his stepchild Brenda (Bob Lesa); his grandchildren, Melanie Nijar, Jaspaul Nijar, Kari Lesa-Laing, Darric Lesa (Tanya Kobylka) and Josh Traylor; and his siblings, Brian (Ron), Gord (Margaret), Harold (Rose), Ray (Cathy), Doug, Oliver (Carol) and Delbert (Sarah).
Donations in memory of John may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
