She was predeceased by: her parents, George Holmes and Minnie Holmes (Bond); and her husband John Barnes. She is survived by: her niece Deb Boersma (Fred) of Chatham; and her sisters-in-law, Rose Brackett (late Leroy) and Donna Meyers (late Jim Barnes). She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
