She was predeceased by: her parents, Vanessa Beattie and Gordon Beattie; her grandchildren, Justine, Michael, Jason, Jane and Todd; and her sister Emma.

She is survived by: her children, Shirley Brandie (Jamie), Barbara Houston (Jim), Jane Kirkland (Dave), Judy Casey (Ben), Lorie Burk (Jack), Ron Holmes (Cheryl), Darlene Swance (Greg) and Michael Beattie (Dave); her grandchildren, Melissa, Jimmy (Laurie), Cari, Ryan (Andrea), Tyler (Amber), Brandy (Larry), Shawn, Dawn (Boyd), Michelle (Jeremy), Matthew, Jesse, Lucky (Carrie), Derek (Jeanette), Colin (Nadja), Kelsey (Stephen), Kim and Jordan; and her brothers, Ted and Mike Beattie. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
