She was predeceased by: her parents, Engvald Helgeson and Agnes Helgeson; her husband Robert Vendel; and her siblings, Harvey, Adrian, Henry and Eleanora.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Floding (Rick) of Detroit Lakes, MN, Richard of Alexandria, Paul (Devona) of Alexandria and Mary Ackerman (Lynn) of Alexandria; her sister Evangeline "Vanie" Kuehl; and her sister-in-law Alice Welman. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
