She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel E. Kennedy; her parents, Ross Helkaa and Ethel Helkaa (Hunter); and her siblings-in-law, John Kennedy and Marilyn Best.
She is survived by: her children, Delbert (Christy) of London and Eddie; her grandchild Camden; her sisters, Eva Cox (Harold) of Gladstone and Ruby Hunter (Jim) of Gladstone; and also, Barb Kennedy and Jerry Best. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up to assist Dianne's autistic son, Eddie, to maintain his independence for as long as possible during this challenging time.
