Claire Hooker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claire Hooker of Belmont, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Dorothy Hooker (Beam); his brothers, Allan and Lyle Hooker; and his parents, Charles Hooker and Cora Hooker (Shilson).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Hooker (Howald); his children, David (Catherine), Joanne Emmons (John) and Glen (Connie); his stepchildren, Shannon and Shawn (Kim); his grandchildren, Charlton, Joshua, Alexander (Sophie), Stephanie, Emma-Lee, Lauren, Abby, Bryson, Mikayla, Tristan, Monica and Michael; his great grandchildren, Carson, Kathleen and Eleanor; and his sister Donna Grawburg (late Earl).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (45 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Elgin or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
