He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Manley and Dora Manley; his sister Jane Ferguson; his parents-in-law, Donald and Audrey Davis; and his brother-in-law Jack Davis (Beth).

He is survived by: his wife Betty (Davis); his children, Michelle Major (Keith) and Stephen (Jessica); his grandchildren, Keira and Sydney Major; his siblings, Debbie Byrne (Billy), Dean (Karen), Danny (Cheryl) and John Ferguson (Anna); and his brother-in-law Ron Esson (Marion). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donations in Dale's memory may be made to the Hastings Manor LTC Home, Belleville.
