Verda Leafia Thain Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2025, at the age of 94, Verda Leafia Thain in Belleville, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandson Philip; her close friend Robert Ashley; her parents, Samuel Wilson (Bill) and Sarah Jane Thain; and her siblings, Clinton (Ruth), Alexander (Dorothy), Freda (Gordon) and Jonathan (Jean).

She is survived by: her children, Gerald Gibson (Jane) of Blind River, Pamela June of Belleville and Vickie Marlene (Steve) of New Zealand; and her grandchildren, Kathryn, Kerry-ann, Charlotte, Genevieve (Grant) and Jacqueline (Gavin). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
