She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband David Boyd; her son Tom (Rob Treu); her sister Bernie Derry of Madoc; her sister-in-law Lise of North Bay; her parents, Mary Thompson (Terrion) and Charles Thompson; her siblings, John (Barbara), Wilfred (Edna), Chuck (Shirley), Mark (Theresa), Gerry (Lise) and Mary Pigden (Gord); her brother-in-law Bill Derry; her parents-in-law, Margaret (Graham) and Dawson Boyd (DC); her close friends, Carroll, Thurlow and Theresa; her caregivers, Ben Wright, Emy Mina, Devina Reboldera, Bev Conner, Trinidad Blair, Dawn Ripley, Amanda Frazer, Nancy, Valen Hogendoorn, Ruby Dhaliwal and Elise Minto; and also Marie. She was also cherished by her many nieces, nephews, their children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rushnell Funeral Homes - Belleville (80 Highland Ave, Belleville, ON K8P3R4). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (399 Victoria Ave, Belleville, ON K8N2E7). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. James Cemetery.
