He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. William Gerald Burrows of Orillia and Alice Bushell Burrows of Canso; his sister Hilary Burrows of Ajax; his niece Laura Burrows; his great-nieces, Josephine and Olive of Toronto; and his caregiver Elaine McLintock.
Soon after his conversion to Christ, in 1992, he met Dr. William Standish Reed, of Tampa, Florida, who was the founder and President of the Christian Medical Foundation.
