He was predeceased by: his parents, Man Chan and Ming Chan; and his sibling Po Sun Chan. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Chan; his children, Philip Chan (Hanna Cho) and Annie Chan; his grandchild Ellie Rae Chan; his siblings, So Wan Chan (Tong Kai), Sui Wan Chan and Ming Sun Chan (Cora Ng); and his nieces and nephews, Mark, Josephine and Wing Yiu.
