It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roman Opoka (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob and Alice; and his sister Irma Holmes (late Lloyd). He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his children, Ronald, Caroline (Angelo), Annette (Russ) and Janet Hughes (Trevor); his grandchildren, Matt (Kita), Hayley, Brooke, Troy (Madi), Cadence and Adam; and his great grandchildren, Albert and Liam. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and his friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the BGH Foundation ICU, or the Eastminster United Church.
