He is survived by: his wife Anna Koekman; his children, Mary Jane Callaghan (Dan), David (Cheryl) and Richard Koekman (Linda); his grandchildren, Caitlin (Brent), Michael (Julie), Danielle (Reece), Alison (Jeff) and Kevin; his great grandchildren, Lawson, Elodie and Poppy; and his siblings, Willem (Jane) of Belleville, Henk Koekman (Heintje) of Belleville, Jan Koekman, Miek Van Derheyden and Andries Koekman (Meta).
