Peter Giles Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Giles (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away on December 16, 2024, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Peter leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Peter may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sheila Joan Giles and Harold Peter Ginn; his significant other Douglas Miles (Doug); his pets, Nemo and Toby; and also Victor Giles (Rick).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Burke Funeral Home (150 Church St, Belleville, ON K8N3B9). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Belleville Cemetery (631 Dundas St W, Belleville, ON K8N4Z2).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or Bridge Street United Church would be appreciated by the family.
