He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Brown and Edith Brown; his son-in-law Andy Rosenplot; and his siblings, Carmen Brown (Donna), Verna Akey (Gord), Betty Botting (Howard), Garnet Brown and Marlene Morgan (Elmer).

He is survived by: his wife Gail Brown (Stuart); his daughters, Judy Ferguson (Steve) and Susan Kiddle (Shane); his grandchildren, Meryl Clement (Adam), Andrew Rosenplot (Rachel), Ryan Kiddle (Amanda), Jacob Kiddle (Tiffany), Sarah and Brian Ferguson; his great grandchildren, Andi Clement, Drew Rosenplot, Blakely, Bennett Kiddle, Joey and Jack Kiddle; and his sister Anita Warren (late Bill). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
