She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Cowan and Eileen Cowan; and her brother Michael Cowan (Elaine). She is survived by: her sister Catherine Follwell (Duff) of Belleville; and her son Brian Weersink (Cathie) of Lethbridge, Alberta.. She is also survived by 5 nieces and 1 nephew, as well as 3 grandchildren in Lethbridge, and many great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations can be made to the 14th floor, Cardinal Carter Wing, St Michael's Hospital, Toronto in appreciation of their exceptional care.
