She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Edward Stewart; her daughters, Sarah and Enid; her grandchildren, Tyson, Marlo, Tobin, Locklin and Bailey; her daughter Maggie; her parents, Muriel Henderson (John Edward Grimson) and Arnold Carmichael; and her siblings, Larry (Judy), Raymond (Nancy), Robert, Patrick, Randy (Jan), Steven (Sue), Ted (Paddy), Terry (Kim) and Cathy. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In later years she donated her time and incredible energy to the Gleaners Food Bank, E. J. McQuigge Lodge, CFB Trenton Yacht Club, many other local charitable organizations and service clubs.
