He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Hay and Elizabeth Hay; his wife Joan Hay; and his siblings, Rosemary McEwen, Alice Ross and James Hay.
He is survived by: his sons, Peter and Stephen Hay (Tina); his grandchildren, Jairid (Shawna), Jordan, Dradon, Alison and Chelsea; and his siblings, Donald Hay, Donna Benn, Angeline Reid (Dennis) and Bernadette Mitchell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
