He was predeceased by: his parent Philip; his grandson David; and his siblings, Isabelle Bangs (late Fred), Clarence Simpson (late Edna), Gladys Richardson, Margaret Dickey (late James), Leonard Simpson (late Evelyn), Muriel Belanger (late Ron) and Reginald Simpson (Teresa).

He is survived by: his spouse Cecile Simpson; his children, Brian Simpson (Kathy) of Belleville, Mark Simpson (Pamela) of Belleville and Jeff Simpson (Susan) of Belleville; his grandchildren, Brad (Jennifer), Chris (Hannah), Adam, Jennifer (James), Michael (Julie), Shannon (James) and Sean (Tara); his great grandchildren, Maya, Carter, Layla, Ella, Emma, Sierra, Austin, Jackson, Alexia, Brooke and Cregan; and his siblings, Dorothy Evans (Peter) and Kenneth Simpson (Shirley).

Memorial donations may be made to the Holy Rosary Building Fund or to the Gleaners Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
