He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Lloyd" Johnston and Carol Ann Johnston; and his parents-in-law, Lonnie and Barb Howard. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Dawn Johnston; his children, Lonnie Howard (Tabatha), Cassandra Johnston (Mitchell) and Kyle Johnston (Lauren); his sisters, Heather Johnston (Dawn) and Valerie Alagna (Bruno); and his in-laws, Carl Howard (Shirley), Debbie Howard (Don), Ben Howard and Lester Howard.
