He is survived by: his siblings, John VanVolkenburg (Frona Mary), Morris VanVolkenburg (Janet), Anne Whitney, Lois VanVolkenburg (Wayne), Rita Shoebridge (Gary), Brian VanVolkenburg (Jeannine), Joyce VanVolkenburg and Janice Caverly (Gord); his former wife Sharon VanVolkenburg (Holden); and his uncle Joe McGrath (Thelma).
