He was predeceased by: his mother Iris Allen. He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his children, Matt Allen (Liz), Jill Allen (Kim) and Ty Wilhelm (Jocelyn); his father Cliff Allen; his siblings, Wayne Allen (Kathy), Stephen Allen (Joanne) and Kim Reid (Clarence); and his friends, Scott and Ron. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Belleville General Hospital ICU or HPEC humane society.
