She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Kirby and Lillian Kirby; her spouse Glen Maxwell Vanderwater; and her sisters, Dorothy and Elizabeth.

She is survived by: her son Peter Vanderwater; her grandchildren, Chris Vanderwater, Michelle Croft, Dawn Herrington and Johnathan Daynard; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Ashley Vanderwater, Alicia, Courtney Croft, Alex, Gavin Barclay, Lillee and Jace Daynard.
