With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Antonia Gentile (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away on April 11, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johannus van and Gertruida van of Ven; her close friend Sam Gentile; and her siblings, Andre, Henk, Antoon, Jan, Fred, Bill, Jim, Maria Hoberg, Truus Kraakman, Hermien van of Ven, Theresa Bardoul, Catharina van Herpt, Lidwien Grafe and Wilhelmina Wensing.
She is survived by: her sons, Anthony (Mary) of Belleville, Paul (Diane) of Picton and Peter (Sonia) of Kingston; her grandchildren, Alexis (Dylan), Sam (Leah), Michael and Alana; her siblings, Lies Wesselink and Neil van (Catherine) of Ven; and her siblings-in-law, Ann van of Ven, Nelia van of Ven and Gunter Grafe.
If desired, donations to the Loyalist Humane Society in memory of Josie would be appreciated as she loved many family dogs over the years and her new friend Duke who she secretly fed with many treats.
