He is survived by: his daughter Pauline Swyers; and his siblings, Jerry, Gary (Linda) of Trenton Ontario, Doris Swyers of Stephenville Newfoundland, Carolyn Marks (Ray) of Conyers Georgia and Georgina of Bradenton Florida.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
