As we bid John Robert farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John Robert is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marilyn LaMorre; his sons, Steven and Robert LaMorre; his grandson Johnathan LaMorre; and his siblings, Nancy Kirk, Harry LaMorre, Jean Hill and Helen Peddleston.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burke Funeral Home (150 Church St, Belleville, ON K8N3B9).

If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward or Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
