We bid farewell to James David McLaren in Belleville, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 16, 2024 at the age of 79. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Anne "Betty". He is survived by: his children, Joanne O'Connor (late Terry), Julie Pearson (late Glen), John McLaren, Janice McLaren (Bob), Bill McLaren (Linda) and Ray McLaren (Yao); his siblings, Margaret Mattice, Marlene McLaren and Robert McLaren (Beth); and his sibling-in-law Thomas Jr. (Gerry). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5).
